These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings and services provided by London Rubbish Removals. By booking with us, you agree to the following terms.

1. General Terms of Service

1.1 These terms apply to all customers and bookings made with London Rubbish Removals, regardless of service type.
1.2 Customers must ensure safe and clear access to the waste for collection. Additional charges may apply if the site is inaccessible or unsafe.
1.3 London Rubbish Removals operates in compliance with all relevant UK waste disposal and environmental regulations.

2. Health and Safety Compliance

2.1 The safety of our staff, customers, and the public is our top priority. Services will be suspended if conditions are deemed hazardous.
2.2 Dangerous materials, including sharp objects or hazardous chemicals, must be declared before booking. Failure to do so may result in cancellation or additional charges.

3. Estimates and On-Site Pricing

3.1 Telephone and online estimates are indicative only and may be revised upon on-site inspection.
3.2 For waste that is not fully visible or accessible, the price may change once assessed by our team.
3.3 Customers will be informed of any additional costs before work proceeds.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Non-account customers must pay on the day of service completion.
4.2 Payments can be made via cash, card, or bank transfer. Cheques are not accepted.
4.3 Account holders must adhere to agreed payment terms or risk additional charges and suspension of services.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

5.1 Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service incur a £60 charge.
5.2 Rescheduling is free if requested at least 48 hours in advance.

6. Ownership and Liability of Waste

6.1 Until full payment is received, all collected waste remains the property of the customer.
6.2 London Rubbish Removals reserves the right to return equivalent waste volume if payment is not received.
6.3 We are not liable for items mistakenly included in the waste collection. Customers are responsible for ensuring only intended items are collected.

7. Handling of Special and Hazardous Waste

7.1 Asbestos:

  • Customers must provide an asbestos register for renovation or builder’s waste.
  • Suspected asbestos will result in immediate cessation of work, and the customer will be informed to arrange proper testing and removal.

7.2 Other Hazardous Materials:

  • If toxic substances, needles, or dangerous items are found, the team will leave the premises immediately and notify the customer.
  • Additional disposal arrangements will be at the customer’s cost.

8. Large, Heavy, or Bulky Items

8.1 Items requiring additional manpower or specialised equipment may incur extra charges.
8.2 If large items cannot be removed due to access or safety issues, the job may need to be rescheduled.

9. Multiple Load Collections

9.1 Jobs requiring multiple trips will be charged per load.
9.2 Customers will be informed of progress, and collections may be paused if necessary, with charges applied for waste already collected.

10. Customer Responsibilities

10.1 Customers must provide accurate information about the type, volume, and location of waste.
10.2 Parking permits or access arrangements must be secured by the customer in advance. Any parking fees incurred will be added to the invoice.
10.3 Queries or disputes about charges must be raised within 24 hours of service completion.

11. Late Payments and Recovery Costs

11.1 Late payments will incur a 1% monthly interest charge on the outstanding balance.
11.2 Legal fees, court costs, and other expenses related to debt recovery will be charged to the customer.

12. Environmental Responsibility

12.1 London Rubbish Removals is committed to eco-friendly waste disposal. We aim to recycle or donate reusable items whenever possible.
12.2 Customers are encouraged to separate recyclable materials to support our sustainability goals.

13. Limitations of Liability

13.1 London Rubbish Removals is not responsible for damage caused to property due to improper site preparation or unsafe conditions.
13.2 Liability for delays caused by traffic, weather, or unforeseen circumstances is excluded.

14. Force Majeure

14.1 London Rubbish Removals is not liable for failure to perform services due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or government restrictions.

15. Account Customers and Credit Terms

15.1 Account customers with approved credit limits are eligible for monthly invoicing.
15.2 Failure to meet credit terms may result in account suspension and revocation of credit facilities.

16. Additional Services

16.1 Services such as garden clearance, furniture dismantling, and additional labor are available upon request and may incur additional charges.
16.2 Any requested services outside the original booking will be confirmed and charged separately.

17. Customer Feedback and Complaints

17.1 We welcome feedback to help improve our services. Complaints can be made via email or phone and will be addressed within five working days.
